railroad bolt spike
This railroad bolt spike is a special self-tapping fastener used to fix steel rails on wooden and concrete sleepers. It is composed of square anti-rotation head, integrated sealing flange, smooth transition shank and deep self-tapping threads.
Made of high tensile carbon steel by integral forging, the spike owns outstanding pull-out resistance and anti-vibration performance, which can withstand long-term impact and vibration loads from passing trains. The surface adopts color zinc electroplating treatment, forming a bright yellow protective coating to resist mild oxidation, dust and light rain corrosion for indoor and general outdoor railway environments.
The square head matches dedicated track wrenches to prevent slipping during installation. The integrated flange evenly distributes compression force to protect sleeper surfaces from indentation damage. The wide and deep self-tapping threads can firmly bite into sleeper materials without pre-drilling, forming stable locking force that resists loosening under dynamic loads.
Railroad bolt spikes are widely applied in regular railway tracks, underground subway lines and mine transport rails. Compared with traditional flat rail spikes, this bolt-type threaded structure provides stronger holding power and convenient disassembly for daily track maintenance.
We provide full customized production solutions, supporting adjustable spike length, shank diameter, thread pitch and surface plating. Custom logo marking and export packaging are available for railway hardware suppliers and track construction contractors.
All railroad bolt spikes pass strict pre-delivery inspections, including pull-out load test, hardness test, plating appearance inspection and thread matching test, to ensure stable fastening performance for every batch.
