DIN571 Stainless Steel Lag Screw
DIN571 lag screw is a standardized heavy-duty wood fastener formulated under German DIN 571 industrial specification, widely exported to European markets for solid timber connection.
This product is integrally formed from SUS304 stainless steel, all critical dimensions including hex head width, shank diameter, thread pitch and tip angle fully comply with DIN571 standard to ensure universal interchangeability for European construction hardware. The six-sided hex head supports socket wrenches and torque spanners, allowing higher tightening torque than slot or cross head wood screws to lock thick lumber firmly.
Equipped with deep coarse self-tapping wood thread and sharp conical tip, it can pierce solid wood directly without pre-drilling holes. Thread teeth embed deep into wood fiber to provide outstanding anti-pull and anti-loosening performance to bear long-term static heavy loads. The middle smooth unthreaded shank lowers friction during penetration and improves tightness of multi-layer wood assembly.
Unlike carbon steel plated DIN571 lag screws, SUS304 stainless steel owns permanent anti-corrosion performance with no coating peeling risk, suitable for humid, rainy and coastal corrosive environments.
All finished screws pass hardness, tensile strength, pull-out test and dimensional inspection before delivery, fully meeting DIN571 and international stainless steel fastener standards. Custom lengths and high-corrosion resistant SUS316 versions can be produced for bulk export orders.
